个人简介

彭友松,男,湖南浏阳人。教育与工作经历如下:2016年3月至今,湖南大学生物学院助理教授,副教授;2013年5月~2016年3月,湖南大学信息科学与工程学院计算机科学系助理研究员;2007年9月~2012年12月,中国科学院生物物理研究所,生物信息学专业,博士.导师,蒋太交教授. 2003年9月~2007年7月,山东大学生命科学学院,生物技术专业,学士。

本实验室主要是生物信息学研究。以流感病毒,冠状病毒,非洲猪瘟病毒等作为研究对象,发展基于机器学习,数据挖掘和进化生物学的计算方法和软件,对病毒性传染病的起源,演化,致病性和跨物种传播等问题进行研究,辅助传染病的监控与预测预警。目前已经开发了十余个基于基因序列对病毒进行预测预警的数据库,计算模型和在线软件;以第一作者或通讯作者在生物信息学权威期刊Briefings in Bioinformatics, Bioinformatics, PLOS Computational Biology, Database以及病毒学权威期刊Cell Host & Microbe, Journal of Virology, Vaccine等发表SCI论文二十余篇,主持和参与国家自然科学基金和国家重点研发计划4项,获得湖南省自然科学一等奖一项(排名第三)。

研究领域

本实验室主要从事病毒性传染病的生物信息学研究,目前主要有两个大的研究方向:

1 传染病的预测预警

最近的禽流感H7N9疫情,埃博拉疫情以及新冠疫情表明,传染病仍然是全人类持续不断的巨大威胁。传统的传染病监测和防控方法具有一定的弊端,而基于大数据的信息学方法对于它们是很好的补充。本实验室一直致力于发展计算方法研究新发传染病的溯源、病毒进化和跟踪、病毒感染机制等等,为传染病的预测预警提供方法学与科学依据。该方向主要用到的方法是统计学,机器学习,数学建模等。

2 计算病毒组学

病毒多样性极大,估计有几百万种,但人类对病毒的认识非常少。全球病毒组计划估计有60~80万种病毒可能感染人,但目前已知的感染人的病毒不到1千种。本实验室致力于通过计算生物学的方法研究病毒组的产生与演化机制,病毒组的遗传与功能多样性,及其与宿主的相互作用,促进人体健康与生态和谐。该方向主要用到组学的方法,主要是基因组学与转录组学,以及统计学和机器学习方法。
