近日，科睿唯安官方发布了新的SCIE、SSCI、A&HCI、ESCI期刊目录，最引人注意的要属35本SCI期刊被剔除，更有Q2区期刊。然而，最令学者和出版社疑惑的是科睿唯安评价期刊的标准是什么？

就在昨天科睿唯安官方发布了标题为《支持学术记录的完整性：我们对 Web of Science 的管理和选择性的承诺》（Supporting integrity of the scholarly record: Our commitment to curation and selectivity in the Web of Science）的博客文章。

文中显示，科睿唯安投资了一种新的、内部开发的人工智能工具，以帮助识别表明期刊可能不再符合他们质量标准的异常特征。今年年初，共500多种期刊被标记，针对这500多本期刊的调查正在进行中，到目前为止，超过50种被标记的期刊未达到核心库收录的质量标准，已被除名。值得注意的是，SCI期刊收录目录每月将更新一次。

Web of Science Journal Evaluation Process and Selection Criteria介绍了科睿唯安对期刊评价的标准与过程，The basic principles of our selection process remain the same: objectivity, selectivity and collection dynamics. We use a single set of 28 criteria to evaluate journals; these are divided into 24 quality criteria designed to select for editorial rigor and best practice at the journal level, and four impact criteria designed to select the most impactful journals in their respective fields using citation activity as the primary indicator of impact.

期刊评选标准共有28个指标，其中24个质量标准，4个影响力标准。评选标准每年将更新。质量标准为：ISSN、Journal title、Journal publisher、URL(online journals)Content access、、Presence of peer review policy、Contact details、Scholarly content、Article titles and article abstracts in Enalish、Bibliographic informationin Roman script、Clarity of language、Timeliness and /or publication volume、Website functionality /Journal format、Presence of ethics statements、Editorial affiliation details、Author affiliation details、Editorial board composition、Validity of statements、Peer review、Content relevance、Grant support details、Adherence to community standards、Author distribution、Appropriate citations to the literature。影响力标准为：Comparative citation analysis、Author citation analysis、Editorial Board Citation Analysis、Content significance。

Journals that meet the quality criteria enter Emerging Sources Citation Index™ (ESCI). Journals that meet the additional impact criteria enter Science Citation Index Expanded™ (SCIE), Social Sciences Citation Index™ (SSCI) or Arts & Humanities Citation Index (AHCI) depending on their subject area. We use the term “flagship” to collectively refer to SCIE, SSCI and AHCI.
